Meet Jeff Lockwood

Jeff Lockwood is the founder and driving force behind Lockwood Painting. Since 2008, Jeff has built the company from the ground up, earning a reputation for quality, professionalism, and reliability across Southwestern Ontario. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the painting industry, Jeff knows what it takes to deliver results that homeowners, custom home builders and renovators can trust.

Beyond running a successful painting company, Jeff is also a respected painting business coach, author, and speaker, helping other painting contractors across North America grow and scale their own businesses through his service, Painting Biz Coach.com. He’s passionate about sharing the lessons he’s learned—the hard way and the smart way—and lifting up others in the trade.

Whether he’s on the jobsite or mentoring other contractors, Jeff brings a deep commitment to craftsmanship, client satisfaction, and community. He’s also a proud member of the Painting Contractors Association (PCA) and actively supports local youth sports and charitable painting projects.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Jeff enjoying life in Chatsworth, Ontario with his wife Valerie, spending time with their grandchildren, or cheering on his favourite NASCAR drivers.

Donna-Lea Tomlin is the steady hand behind the scenes at Lockwood Painting. With over eight years of dedication, she brings a unique mix of technical skill, artistic precision, and organizational expertise that keeps our projects running like clockwork.

As Assistant Manager, Donna-Lea helps oversee daily operations, coordinates jobsite activity, and plays a key role in refining the systems that keep our company efficient and client-focused. She’s also an expert in wallpaper installation and custom stain colour creation and matching—two highly specialized services that set Lockwood Painting apart in the industry. Her sharp eye for detail and deep product knowledge ensure flawless finishes, every time.

In addition to her skillset, Donna-Lea’s background in the decorating world and her leadership have made her an invaluable part of our team. Her high standards, professionalism, and dedication to excellence are felt on every job we complete.

Valerie Lockwood is the big reason why our clients feel so well cared for from start to finish. As the operations coordinator, Valerie manages the behind-the-scenes details that keep our business running smoothly, from scheduling and communication to client follow-ups and residential project logistics.

Her calm, friendly presence and exceptional people skills make her a trusted point of contact for our residential clients. Valerie ensures every client feels heard, informed, and confident throughout the entire painting process.

Joe Reid is the Lead Painter at Lockwood Painting, bringing skill, precision, and years of hands-on experience to every project. Known for his steady workmanship and strong leadership on the jobsite, Joe ensures that each project meets the company’s high standards of quality and attention to detail. His ability to mentor newer painters while managing complex tasks makes him an invaluable part of the Lockwood Painting team. With a commitment to professionalism and craftsmanship, Joe plays a key role in delivering the exceptional results clients have come to expect.

Started painting for the company in 2008 while still in High School helping out during the summer months with exterior painting. Lucas painted full-time for a few years before leaving for a career in the printing industry. He still works for us on a part-time basis. Lucas is an avid hunter and loves to spend time with his two sons, Myles and Nash.
